Bile duct cancer, also known as cholangiocarcinoma, is a relatively rare cancer. This cancer is a little tricky to diagnose and is most common in older adults.
Mr. Fakhrul, a 42-year-old from Bangladesh, was also suffering from this medical condition. He was searching online in the hope of seeking affordable medical treatment abroad. That's when he came across our website.
After filling out the query form, a case manager was assigned to help plan treatment, choose a hospital, schedule appointments, and arrange accommodations. We suggested that he come to India for the best possible treatment.
He agreed and came with his wife and brother. After their arrival, our coordinator picked them up at the airport and dropped them off at their hotel.
The patient's appointment was scheduled with Prof. Dr. Mohamed Rela, a Liver Transplant Surgeon with over 31 years of experience.
Upon reviewing his reports, the doctor suggested getting PTBD (Percutaneous Transhepatic Biliary Drainage), followed by a D Lap (Diagnostic Laparoscopy) and Liver Resection.
After the surgery, he took 4 sessions of chemotherapy, which was successfully carried out at Dr. Rela Institute and Medical Centre, Chennai.
He stayed around a month in India and was satisfied with our services.
Sending him all our positive vibes for a smooth recovery!
We hope he heals quickly and gets back to his usual self again!
