Dr. Lakshmansinh Khiria

Dr. Lakshmansinh Khiria is a Surgical Gastroenterologist with +15 years of experience in performing surgeries of the GI tract and liver transplantation. 

Dr. Khiria holds professional memberships of the Indian Medical Association, the Federation of Obstetric & Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI) and the Member of Ahmedabad Obstetric & Gynaecological Society (AOGS).

He completed his graduation in 1996 from Rajasthan University, followed by MS in 2001. He then went on to pursue M.Ch (Surgical Gastroenterology/G.I. Surgery) from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi in 2007.

He underwent a Fellowship in HBP and Liver Transplantation. He has also attended other training, competence training and fellowships in obstetrics, gynaec ultrasound and advanced laparoscopy and hysteroscopy among other disciplines. 

Dr. Khiria is an expert surgical gastroenterologist who performs GI surgeries, liver transplants, esophagectomies, esophageal reconstructions, colonic interpositions, gastrectomies, gastric reconstructions, Sleeve Gastrectomies, Roux-en-Y Bypass, pancreatic and hepatobiliary resections, Lap Band, necrosectomies and operative procedures for chronic pancreatitis, various types of shunt surgeries for portal hypertension and Budd-Chiari syndrome, colorectal resections and reconstructions, IPAA among others. 

He has co-authored well-researched papers for reputed medical journals.
