Dr. Mark Regi

Dr. Mark Regi is a celebrated Consultant Interventional Radiologist at Burjeel Hospital, Abu Dhabi, possessing over 15 years of advanced image-guided surgical experience. Formerly a lead in Vascular Intervention for trauma and complex aortic aneurysm repair (EVAR) in the UK, Dr. Regi is an authority in minimally invasive pinhole surgery.

He completed his medical education in the United Kingdom followed by specialist clinical radiology residency and advanced subspecialty fellowship training in interventional radiology. Dr. Regi holds Fellowship from the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR - UK).

Clinical Expertise & Key Focus Areas:

• Minimally invasive endovenous laser and radiofrequency ablation for symptomatic varicose veins
• Endovascular coiling and embolization for acute hemorrhage, trauma, and vascular malformations
• Peripheral balloon angioplasty and stenting for peripheral arterial disease and limb ischemia
• Inferior vena cava (IVC) filter placement and retrieval, and deep vein thrombosis (DVT) interventions
