Dr. Tarig Ali Elhassan

Dr. Tarig Ali Mohamed Elhassan is the Head of Department and Specialist Cardiac Surgeon at Burjeel Hospital, Abu Dhabi. With over 20 years of surgical experience in Russia and the UAE, Dr. Elhassan is a recognized leader in open-heart surgery, coronary revascularization, and valvular heart surgery.

Dr. Elhassan earned his medical degree and completed his general surgical internship at Russia's Izhevsk State Medical Academy (IGMA) in 1999. He continued at the same institution to earn a Master's degree in Cardiovascular Surgery in 2002, practicing at the Republican Clinical Hospital No. 3 (Izhevsk Cardiac Center) before moving to the UAE in 2004.
