Dr. Bhushan Chittawadagi

He has received the KS National Robotic Surgery video awards in 2021 from the Vattikuti foundation in Detroit, United States. He won the best paper presentation award on “Laparoscopy D2-Gastrectomy for locally advanced gastric cancer: surgical and long-term oncological outcomes” at the 13th international congress conference named AMASICON in 2018. He received the Bursary award from the India Association of surgical gastroenterologists named IASGCON in 2017. He received the best video award for the Robotic McKeown’s esophagectomy at the Annual Conference of Clinical Robotic Surgery Association (India Chapter) CRSA IND in 2020. He won the best paper award for the topic “Predictors of malignancy in chronic calcific pancreatitis with head mass” at the conference IASGCON in 2017. He won the best paper award for “Laparoscopic palliative cervical oesophagal bypass for carcinoma oesophagus with TEF” at the International conference on complex & rare cases in oesophagus and stomach in ICES – 2019. He won the video award for “Robotic McKeown’s esophagectomy with Total 2F Lymphadenectomy in locally advanced Mid Thoracic SCC” at the Annual International Conference, ACRLS 2020 on Nov 27-28 in Seoul, South Korea. It was jointly organised by the Asia Pacific Association of Robotic surgeons and Korean Association of Robotic surgeons.
