- The new Kasr El Aini Teaching Hospital is a research and teaching hospital in Cairo equipped with the latest scientific methods and technologies inaugurated on April 8 1996; it is affiliated with Kasr El Aini Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University.
- Being a multispecialty hospital it has various medical and surgical departments like ENT, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Cardiology, Oncology, Neurosurgery, Paediatrics, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Andrology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Dermatology, Family Medicine and many more.
- Since its original establishment in1827 under the directorate of a French doctor, Dr Anotine Clot, the hospital has gone through several renovations to facilitate comprehensive medical healthcare services to allow more patients with better facilities and technologies and lower costs. It also looks to increase its capacity by 300%.
- It receives on an average 7.3 million patients every year, performing approximately 2.2 million x-rays, 80,000 CT scans and 45,000 ultrasounds annually.
- The Hospital is the first medical college in the Arab republic to receive two ISO certificates in the administrative system and management system of educational institutions.
