Andre from Rwanda Gets his Daughter’s Kidney Treatment in India

Andre Muvuzankwaya’s daughter, who belongs to Rwanda started noticing some issues with her urination. When she consulted a doctor nearby, she came to know that had some abnormalities in her kidneys and needed treatment. Since enough provisions were not available in Rwanda, the family decided to visit India for her treatment.

While searching on the internet, Andre found about Vaidam Health. He posted a query related to his problem on the website. Soon, he received a callback by a case manager, Heena Mehta. The case manager asked for all the reports from the patient to be able to provide the doctor’s opinion from the best nephrologists in India. This was followed by choosing the top hospital for his treatment. Heena helped him to go through the list of neurosurgeons in India. Ultimately, Andre decided to visit Apollo Hospital, Ahmedabad.

This was followed by the initiation of the paperwork needed. The case manager arranged the Visa Invitation Letter from the hospital needed to get the medical visa. Another Vaidam team member did the visa application. Within a span of 72 hours, the patient received a visa on his email Id.

After their arrival, they were taken from the airport to the hotel by one of the team members. Soon after, the girl had his appointment with a kidney specialist, Dr Manoj Gumber at the hospital. The doctor took a detailed case history of the patient and ordered certain investigative tests such as an MRI and a CT scan to confirm the diagnosis and plan the treatment. After the reports came back, the doctor advised the kidney treatment in detail, which was done soon after.

Andre’s daughter is now recovering well. The family was entirely happy with the services offered by Vaidam team during their visit to India.
