What kind of problem did you have?
I had been having spine related issues for the last few years. I was suffering from back pain and has difficulty sitting for a long time and walking. Therefore, I wanted to consult a have a complete examination.
How did you choose the hospital for your checkup?
While I was looking for the best hospitals in India, somebody told me about Vaidam Health. I posted a query on their website and received a call back from one of their case managers. He helped me with the list of topmost doctors and their profiles. She also got me hospital opinions and associated quotes.
How was your visit to India arranged?
After I decided to visit Nanavati Super Specialty Hospital, Mumbai the case manager helped me to get the Visa Invitation Letter from the hospital. The visa application process was also done by the Vaidam team. I only had to give my information. Other than this, the accommodation was also arranged by the team as per my preferences. My pickup and drop off from the airport was also arranged by team members. They facilitated my trip very smoothly.
What was your experience at the hospital?
After I arrived in India on 7th March was picked up from the airport and my appointment was scheduled with Dr. Mihir Bapat, a senior spine surgeon. He took a detailed medical history and heard me patiently. My physical examination was carried out and I was sent for further investigations. After the reports, the doctor had a detailed session with me about the results and the lifestyle changes I need to make.
My entire medical visit at the hospital went on smoothly. The hospital staff and the Vaidam team assisted me in everything and were quite reliable. I am grateful to them.
