Artemis Hospital uses the special technique called the 'Neuro-Navigation Technology' to successfully remove a 6 cm brain tumour from a 35-year-old.
The patient Rahul was epileptic and experienced severe headaches and speech impairment.
Doctors at hospitals suggested an open skull surgery to which he did not give consent.

The new 'Neuro-Navigation Technology' performed on the patient works like a GPS navigation inside the brain so that the exact location of the tumour can be accurately detected.
According to the Director of Neurosurgery at Artemis Hospital, Dr. Aditya Gupta, this technique involves a small incision directly over the tumour, does not require the patient to shave his head and post-surgery disfigurement is also avoided.
Rahul recovered fast after the surgery and talked to his family on the same day.
He was discharged after two days.
