Adil Cheik, a 1.5-year-old baby from Ivory Coast, suffered from jaundice when he was born. The child soon started having seizures. He has had difficulties in speaking since then. He had developed a disorder in his right brain that caused spasms in the left side of the body. His audio-visual abilities were also hampered.
In pursuit of the best treatment, the mother searched online and learned about Vaidam Health. She contacted us and decided to come to India for the treatment.
She came with her child and consulted Dr. Rajni, a Pediatric Neurologist with 13 years of experience as a specialist. The doctor ran various medical tests, including an MRI. On reviewing the reports, no tumor was found, and it was decided that he did not require any neurosurgery. The doctor advised medical management of seizures along with occupational therapy.
The treatment was started at BLK Super Speciality Hospital, New Delhi. With the continuous efforts of the therapists at the hospital, the child's condition has drastically improved. He has now started to respond to sounds and has better speaking abilities.
Adil’s mother and grandmother accompanied him. They stayed in India for two months.
