I am Ibrahim Diddy Bah and I belong to Sierra Leone.

What brought you to India?

I had plans to visit India with a friend of mine who wanted to get some treatment in India. When I came to BLK Hospital and saw that everything was being done with great perfection. Hygiene standards were excellent and the doctors were really considerate. Hence, I thought to get a health check-up done during my visit. 

How was your experience at the hospital?

I had been experiencing some chest pain before coming to India. Hence, I was referred to Dr. Ajay Kaul, who is one of the finest cardiac surgeons in India. Dr Kaul heard me patiently and noted a detailed medical history. He performed some test and ordered further investigations related to my heart including ECG. After the reports came back, he found that there were some abnormalities in my heart and I needed surgery.

As this came as an unexpected shock to me, I panicked. However, the doctor calmed me down and explained to me everything. After I was satisfied with all my queries, we scheduled the date for the surgery. The surgery was performed successfully and I stayed in the hospital for a few days. Since then I have been recovering well. My symptoms are gone.

How was your overall experience in India?

I had a great time in India. People here are very warm and kind-hearted. The hospital had maintained great hygiene standards. The hospital staff was very considerate and the doctors excelled in their fields. All the questions were answered satisfactorily.
