- The 58-year-old woman Chuithing Glomei from Manipur had a large thymus gland tumour.
- Doctors confirmed that she is doing well post-surgery and was discharged after two days.
- The surgery was challenging and according to senior consultant surgeon, Dr. Arun Prasad, the robotic surgery had to be subsituted with an open surgery if anything went wrong.
