Renal cell carcinoma (Kidney cancer) represents around 3% of all cancers which is more frequently observed in kidney transplant recipients. This infection-induced cancer can be treated by surgical removal, the procedure known as nephrectomy.
In some cases, the cancerous cells break down from their primary location, such as the kidney, and spread via the bloodstream to the brain. It gives rise to Brain metastasis (Brain tumor). Brain tumors rank among the ten leading causes of death in both men and women.
