World's Heaviest Man in Mexico to Undergo Gastric Bypass Surgery

32-year-old Juan Pedro Franco weighs 595 kilos.

Juan Pedro Franco is the heaviest man in the world.
He weighed 595kgs before his treatment started in a hospital in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Till now he has been on a three month diet so as to prepare him for a gastric bypass surgery.
Dr. Jose Antonio Castaneda Cruz, Franco's doctor has now given a date for the surgery.
According to Dr.Cruz, Franco has lost almost 30 per cent of his initial weight and is ready to undergo a surgery.
Earlier it was impossible because of his obesity related conditions and diabetes.
While the first gastric bypass surgery will reduce Franco's weight by 50 per cent, a second operation will be required later.
Due to obesity Franco cannot walk and hadn't left his home for the past six years.
