From Zimbabwe to India: Thaddeus’s Successful PTCA Journey with Vaidam

Thaddeus Mauswa, a 70-year-old from Zimbabwe, began experiencing serious heart issues and consulted a doctor in his home country. However, due to high treatment costs, he was unable to get proper care. While searching for more accessible options, his daughter connected with a former Vaidam Health patient, who recommended the platform to explore better and more affordable treatment options in India.

After a thorough clinical evaluation in India, the doctor suggested Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty with a stent to open the blocked and narrowed arteries. The procedure was successful, and Thaddeus began recovering smoothly.

Thaddeus’s wife, Maritzo Mauswa, accompanied him to India for support during his medical journey. They stayed in India for around 20–25 days, allowing enough time for recovery and follow-up.

Reflecting on their journey, Maritzo shared, "We truly felt at home in India. If it weren’t for responsibilities waiting back home, we would have loved to stay longer. I’m deeply thankful to the hospital and especially to Vaidam Health for their constant support and care throughout this journey."
