• Dr. Ambrish Mithal is a famed endocrinologist in India, with an experience of over 33 years.

  • First to establish osteoporosis as a serious health problem in India that affects an estimated 50 million people,
  
  
  • First to establish the existence of widespread vitamin D deficiency in India. 
  
  
  • First Indian to serve on international bodies like the WHO Global Taskforce on Osteoporosis and Committee of Scientific Advisors, Asia Pacific Advisory Council and Board of Governance of the International Osteoporosis Foundation
