Orbital surgery is being done for correcting and treating injuries of the eyes, eyelids and there surrounding structures such as blepharoplasty for correcting the abnormalities and repairing the injuries of eyelids.

Orbital surgery is being performed by making an incision at the backside of lower eyelid which is carried into the skin on the outside corner of eye. Bone is removed from below the eye and from the middle wall of eye socket at last sutures are placed in the outer corner of the eye to close the incision.
It will take about two weeks to recover completely from orbital decompression surgery. In the first week you have to take rest such as you should avoid bending over or blowing your nose. When you have recovered your symptoms of distorted eye appearance, discomdort and vision issue will resolve.
