Remarks

Holders of Bangladeshi passports residing in other divisions of Bangladesh (except Chittagong division, Rajshahi division, Sylhet division, Khulna division) may apply for a visa in the Indian Visa Application Centre- Dhaka (Jamuna Future Park ) / IVAC, Mymensingh/ IVAC, Jessore/ IVAC, Barisal Holders who are residents of Chittagong divisions may apply for a visa in IVAC, Chittagong. Bangladeshi nationals residing in Rajshahi division may apply for visa in IVAC, Rajshahi / IVAC, Rangpur. Comilla, Noakhali, Brahmanbaria, Satkhira, Bogura,Thakurgoan living applicants can apply from their district's Indian visa application centers. Bangladeshi nationals residing in Sylhet division may apply for visa in IVAC, Sylhet. Bangladeshi nationals residing in the Khulna division may apply for a visa in IVAC, Khulna.

Regular Visa Checklist

Documents Required For Regular Visa From Bangladesh Towards India

Review and prepare each applicable document before submitting your visa application.

Completed application form.
Two recent passport-sized photographs (Size: 37mmX37mm).
Bangladesh passport/National ID/Birth certificate (17 digits)/Foreign old passport with an NVR seal.
If there has been a name change while residing in a foreign country, provide a legal document supporting the change or a copy of a court order.
A valid passport (valid at least for 6 months).
Payment receipt for the visa fee.
Required documents to get visa of your category/type.
For children of Bangladesh nationals: Child’s Person Bevis (Family Birth Certificate). Passport of the child(ren)’s father or mother with an NVR seal.
For spouses of foreign origin: Notarized copy of the marriage certificate. Declaration from the Bangladesh origin national regarding the validity of marital status. Original copy of the passport along with a photocopy of the Bangladesh origin national’s passport.
