- Dr. Gurpal Singh is an orthopedic surgeon having more than 15 years of expertise.
- Services provided by him includes bone and soft tissue tumors (benign and malignant), robotic-assisted joint replacement, complex reconstructions of the lower limb, and arthroscopic (key hole) surgeries of the hip and knee including sports injuries and meniscus/ligament reconstruction, in addition to general orthopedic cases.
- With a gold medal and Dean's List honours, Dr. Singh graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2004. He then pursued additional surgical training in partnership with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK. As the best candidate in the FRCSEd(Orth) test, which was held in association with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Scotland, he received the first College of Surgeons Gold Medal upon completion of his advanced specialty training in orthopaedic surgery in 2011. After earning his orthopaedic surgery certification, Dr. Singh travelled to Germany for two years after receiving the Ministry of Health Scholarship. At the Otto-von-Guericke University in Magdeburg, where he worked with Professor Christoph H. Lohmann, and at University Hospital Muenster, where he worked with Professor Georg Grosheger and Professor Jendrik Hardes, he completed two fellowships in complex joint replacement/hip and knee surgery and musculoskeletal oncology.
- Dr. Singh held the positions of Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the National University Hospital, Assistant Professor, and Director of Ag Research at the National University of Singapore's Department of Orthopedic Surgery prior to entering private practise. He also worked as a Consultant in Surgical Oncology at the National University Cancer Institute (NCIS).
