Intraocular Implants (IOLs) Cost in Saudi Arabia

An intraocular lens implant is an artificial replacement for the lens of your eye. It's part of the surgery to fix cataracts. It is made of clear plastic, and it's about a third the size of a dime.

During the IOL placement procedure, anesthesia is given followed by a tiny cut through the cornea to get to the lens, then the lens is broken into pieces and removed bit by bit. Later, there is implant placement and allowed to heal itself. It takes around an hour for the procedure to complete.
