What is included in the treatment cost?
The treatment cost covers surgical fees, doctor’s fees, lab tests, medication, and room charges.
Can an attendant stay with me in the hospital?
Yes, during your hospitalization, one attendant can stay with you in a single room at no additional cost. Complimentary food and accommodation for the attendant are provided.
What additional documents and information do you require from my doctor?
Please bring all previous medical reports, including X-rays, MRI, CT scans,ultrasound images, blood investigation reports, and discharge summaries (if available).
How soon can the investigations be scheduled?
We prioritize minimal waiting time for our patients. Investigations are scheduled promptly after admission under the treating doctor.
Do you assist in obtaining a medical visa to India?
Yes, we assist in obtaining a medical visa invitation letter. Once you select a hospital, please provide the passport copies of the individuals traveling, and we will facilitate the medical visa application process, including e-Visa applications, which are simple and fast.
Will you assist in airport transfers?
Yes, our dedicated executive will receive you at the airport upon arrival and arrange transportation to the hospital or accommodation. After discharge,we provide transportation back to the airport or accommodation, all at no extra cost.
How can I contact my doctor for follow-up inquiries once I have returned home?
We facilitate communication with your doctors via email and telephonic consultations. Video conferencing with your treating doctor can also be arranged if necessary.
What is the payment policy?
An advance deposit of the treatment estimate is required upon admission to the hospital. Any excess amount deposited will be refunded at the time of discharge if the actual treatment cost is lower.
Does Vaidam charge any fees for its services?
No, Vaidam does not charge any fees from patients. We operate as channel partners of the hospitals.
Does the bill increase by using Vaidam's services?
No, utilizing Vaidam's services does not increase your medical bills. In fact, we often negotiate better prices for our patients.
Can I get accommodation near the hospital after discharge?
Yes, we can recommend nearby affordable guesthouses, typically located within a 5-15 minute drive or walk from the hospital.
How can I save on living expenses?
Opt for non-luxurious yet hygienic guesthouses or hotels near the hospital.Look for options with kitchen facilities for self-cooking. For longer stays,consider furnished/service apartments near the hospital
