Dr. Walter Tan Tiang Lee

• Dr. Walter Tan Tiang Lee is a plastic surgeon having more than 25 years of expertise.


• Services provided by him includes general breast and breast cancer surgery, including breast reconstruction surgery, head and neck surgery (thyroid and salivary gland surgery), and aesthetic surgery.


• He served as a professor of surgery at the National University of Singapore, chief of surgery at National University Hospital, and head of the division of plastic and reconstructive surgery until joining Raffles Hospital in 2001. Additionally, he was a Master of the Singapore Academy of Medicine (2000- 2002). 


• Prof. Tan was a part of the team that worked at Raffles Hospital in 2003 to separate the Korean ischiopagus conjoined twins. 


• At the National University of Singapore, Prof. Tan is also an Adjunct Professor of Surgery. He served as President of the Singapore Society for Cosmetic (Aesthetic) Surgery from 2003 to 2009, Past President of the Singapore Association of Plastic Surgeons from 2003 to 2009, and an appointed member of the Singapore Medical Council from 2006 to 2010. (2009-2011). He serves on the Board of the Asian Medical Foundation after serving as a member of the Health Sciences Authority of Singapore's board from 2007 to 2013. Additionally, he serves as the International Confederation for Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery's National Representative for Singapore (IPRAS).
