• Dr. Rajeev Sharan is the senior consultant in surgical oncology and the head of the head and neck oncology at HCG EKO Cancer Centre, Kolkata.


• He has more than 19 years of experience in head and neck surgical oncology and thyroid surgery, working in premier institutions like AIIMS, New Delhi, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Cochin and Tata Medical Centre, Kolkata.


• He is one of the best head and neck cancer and thyroid surgeons in Kolkata and the Eastern Region of India. 


• The doctor has special interests in remote access scarless neck robotic/endoscopic, hemi/total thyroidectomy, robotic/endoscopic neck dissection and Transoral Robotic Surgery (TORS).


• He was the first surgeon to perform retroauricular robotic thyroidectomy in Eastern India.


• He was the first to perform retroauricular endoscopic hemithyroidectomy in Eastern India.
